A big hello from Kimberly Rowe and Alison Reese over here at Trust Tree Designs! “What is a trust tree?” you may be wondering. Well we’re glad you asked. That’s our way of saying that no ideas are off limits when we’re brainstorming to come up with a new story, design, or concept. When we’re in the tree, anything is fair game! Although we’re both professional musicians, we’re also designers, and Trust Tree Designs seemed like the perfect name for our print and web design service.
Here’s what we’ve been up to lately…
GroundWork(s)
Last fall Dallas Symphony Orchestra principal harp Emily Levin asked us to create a website for her new GroundWork(s) composition project. We’re excited to announced that the project has launched!
Emily is commissioning 50 new works for harp, from each of the 50 U.S. states. She wanted a design to showcase composers and their commissions, along with upcoming premieres.
Design features:
- Composer custom post type with custom fields
- Event calendar
- Donation portal
- newsletter signup and contact form
We are happy to report that Emily loves her new site!
From initial concept to final execution, Trust Tree Designs took my vague website ideas and turned them into an eye-catching, engrossing design. Kim worked with me on every step of the design and function process to create a website that surpassed my expectations. Plus, I can now plug in new information without any headache or confusion. Thank you Trust Tree!

Harp Column magazine
The March-April 2022 issue of our flagship brand Harp Column magazine hit the stands last month. For this issue we invited former Houston Symphony principal harp Paula Page to interview newly retired San Francisco Symphony principal harp Doug Rioth about his decades-long career.
Doug gave us some amazing photos to work with, and we’re pretty happy with how this cover turned out!
Design features:
40 custom designed magazine pages including:
- integrated third-party ads
- features
- interview spread
- reviews
- print/web integration
