Greetings friends! We’re starting something new this season by giving you a little glimpse into both our personal and professional lives here at Trust Tree Designs, and it’s been a busy few months. As many of you reading this probably already know, TTD founders Alison Reese and Kimberly Rowe are also professional musicians. When she’s not in the process of putting together the print edition of Harp Column magazine, Alison can be heard playing with the Grand Rapids Symphony and other orchestras throughout Southwestern Michigan. Kimberly lives in the coastal village of Camden, Maine, where she recently put together a 25-harp ensemble to perform for the community. (Check out all those harps!)
On the design front, we recently completed a fun—and challenging!—project for the non-profit Megunticook Rowing organization, who asked us to put together a landing page for their “Row the Coast” fundraiser. They wanted to collect donations, keep track of rowers’ progress, allow donors to “sponsor” a rower, and show the overall fundraiser progress along with top donors. They didn’t want to pay for third-party donation platform that would keep a portion of the profits, so that’s where we stepped in. We were determined we could give them what they wanted and build it ourselves! We are pretty excited by the end result we delivered to them and you can check it out here.
We’re happy to report that Megunticook Rowing was so pleased with our fundraising page that they asked us to give their entire website a complete redesign. Take a peek and let us know what you think.
In print news, we had the great honor of featuring Hannah Cope Johnson, who recently became principal harp of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, on the cover of Harp Column magazine. The fall issue always presents a layout challenge because of the number of colleges who advertise at this time of year, but we were able to squeeze them all in! If you’re considering Trust Tree Designs for an upcoming print project and would like to see a copy of this issue in print, just send us an email and we’d be happy to pop one in the mail.
Take a look at our showcase page for more examples of how we can help with your next print or web design project!
